Please join the Mayor of Indianapolis, the Irish Citizen of the Year and the Hoosier Lottery for a live media event as we turn the downtown canal green on March 17th, 2008. The Ceremony will begin at 6:30am and it will conclude with the pouring of the green dye into the canal and the display of the green fountain. There will be live entertainment, food and prizes! The Canal Greening takes place on the corner of Ohio and West Street just east of the fire station. Parking is available on Ohio Street.
